The QCL-DFB (NP) series are single longitudinal mode, narrow linewidth DFB quantum cascade lasers. Outputs are pulsed with peak outputs of up to 200mW. Custom wavelengths are available from 5,000nm to 16,000nm.

Coarse tuning of the centre wavelength is possible over approximately 10 nm using temperature control, at a rate of ~0.5 nm/K.

These DFB laser diodes come in a range of standard laser diode packages:

  • TO8mm and TO3mm headers are available with or without cap.
  • C-mount style

Optional windows and lenses fitted can be fitted; both BK7 and sapphire caps are available. Drive electronics are not included. Laser 2000 supplies a range of suitable drive drivers and temperature controllers. Please see the Laser Accessories section.
