The LCM-S series are single longitudinal mode 532nm green lasers for OEM applications. Their CW output powers are around 10mW - 50mW. These lasers provide excellent beam quality and narrow linewidths. They come in a wide range of factory fitted beam diameter and beam divergence combinations.

The LCM-S series are OEM laser systems that provide basic operation at an entry-level price. Electrical modulation of these lasers is possible, but only at very low frequencies and is not advisable.

LCM-S series lasers come with an OEM style laser controller and require a 5VDC supply line from a stabilised source. The output power of the lasers is fixed and not adjustable electrically. An interlock point is provided on the controller.

Amplitude stability is dependent on short term noise and longer term drift. All of the lasers in the LCM-S series are available with average power stability rated at <2% over 8 hours at the specified operating temperature range and with adequate heatsinking, after warm-up. Amplitude noise is less than 2% peak, 0.5% RMS. These lasers are narrow linewidth and deliver a coherence length of approximately >50m.

The beam quality of these lasers is excellent. They have a circular, TEM00 spatial mode beam with an M-squared of <1.2. The polarisation of the output power is 100-1.

These lasers are for incorporation into OEM systems where they can be maintained or replaced easily at scheduled and unscheduled service intervals. These lasers are not designed for operation in harsh temperature, humidity, or electrical environments or for exposure to high loading stress, acceleration, shock or vibration. Please note that the failure to provide adequate cooling may result in the premature failure of DPSS lasers.
