Founded in 2016 by Dr Erik Manders and Peter Drent. Erik is the head of the research group that developed the RCM technology and continues to work on the future models. He is well known in the microscopy world by the Manders’ coefficient and the Controlled Light Exposure Microscopy (CLEM, together with Ron Hoebe). Peter has played a key role in the development of Confocal.nl and has more than 25 years of experience in the microscopy business.
The company currently focusses on combining super-resolution capability with higher sensitivity than most confocal microscopes.
About the products
The RCM is available for both visible wavelengths and NIR wavelengths and offers scanning speeds of up to 4 frames per second. Lateral resolution for the visible is 170nm and 240nm for the NIR. It is available as a complete system or as an upgrade that can added to an existing widefield fluorescence system, which makes it an ideal solution for small labs with limited budget, but demanding tasks. Affordable and excellent add-on for imaging facilities to increase imaging capacity.
