Pannoramic Viewer – The virtual microscope for digital histology and digital pathology
Virtual microscope software lets you view, analyse and process slides in a fraction of the time compared with traditional microscopes. The improved workflow enables you to spend far less time on data collection and more time on interpretation.
Analysis software removes subjectivity from slide analysis as it tests every sample against identical criteria. In addition, the documented evidence of how slides were scored can be used to verify and compare data sets. The ability to quantify results over a much larger sample set adds further weight to your final data and conclusions.
The Pannoramic viewer is the 3D Histech scanner system's computer interface for medical and biological professionals. This virtual microscope software lets you view digital slide samples, make annotations, measurements and capture image sections.
The basic Pannoramic Viewer software is free to download. Use and share your virtual slides with anyone, anywhere.
- Quickly open and work with high resolution virtual slide images
- View multiple slides in parallel
- Instantly zoom to cellular features at microscope resolution
- Record and track the process of reviewing the slide
- Annotate areas of interest
- Tracking history shows which areas have been viewed
- Make measurements on your sample without having to calibrate or scale
- Export measurements to Excel
- Use the virtual camera tool to take snapshots of all or parts of the slide. Save these as ordinary image files for your reports, presentations, posters and other documents.
Various additional software modules allow you to expand the digital microscopy functionality easily, and tailor the system to your particular application.
- With HistoQuant, MembraneQuant, NuclearQuant, and FISHQuant modules, you can define procedures to measure various parameters on a slide. Combined with ImmunoScreener, you can run the Quant application on one slide or on a set of slides.
- With Measurement Visualisation, you can display HistoQuant, MembraneQuant, NuclearQuant, and FISHQuant measurements as a scatter plot, a histogram, or as an image gallery.
- With the TMA module, you can view and analyse slide sets in which each slide is a cut from a tissue microarray. Combined with the ImmunoScreener module, the TMA module provides you with a powerful tool to perform research-scale analyses on digital slides.
- With the ImmunoScreener module, you can perform an immunohistochemical analysis on a slide set. If you also purchase the TMA module, you can run your ImmunoScreener analysis on a tissue microarray and score the TMA project in ImmunoScreener.
- With the Teleconsultation module, you can share slides with other Pannoramic Viewer users to request their analysis.

HistoQuant – Quantitative and qualitative analysis
HistoQuant is a flexible, general purpose image analysis software for digital histology. HistoQuant provides quantitative and qualitative analysis for both tissue samples and cells. Analyse any object or tissue element within user-defined areas or over the whole slide.
HistoQuant counts cell nuclei and measures nuclear features (morpho- and densitometric). The software supports both brightfield and fluorescence digital slides.

NuclearQuant – Automated quantification software for IHC nuclear stains
NuclearQuant automatically scores your ER, PR and Ki-67 digital pathology slides. To give reliable results, NuclearQuant uses colour deconvolution to measure the staining intensity on only the chromogen channel.
The algorithm categorises the detected nuclei to negative, weak positive, medium positive and strong positive classes.
The classification gallery lets you locate the detections one by one and rescore. The scoring parameters are configurable, which allows you to adjust them to suit your slide preparations.

MembraneQuant – Automated quantification software for IHC membrane stains
MembraneQuant effectively scores your HER-2 and EGFR digital samples.
With the help of colour deconvolution, MembraneQuant performs the intensity measurements on only on the chromogen channel, to give reliable results.
The algorithm categorises the detected cells (+, ++, +++), and determines the H-score for the annotated area. The classification gallery lets you view, find and rescore the detected membranes.

FISHQuant – Automated quantification software for FISH samples
Fluorescent in-situ hybridization (FISH) is becoming a widely used technique in many fields. These include oncology, haematology, human genetics and prenatal diagnostics.
FISHQuant lets you evaluate your FISH probes on digital slides. Choose between the built-in probes, modify them and add more.
The program categorises the nuclei into normal, abnormal and artefact groups. The classification gallery allows you to visualise and rescore detections.
FISHQuant has a simple point-and-click interface for set-up, with a live preview that shows the effects of your changes on the results.

DensitoQuant – quick measurement of immunostain densities
The DensitoQuant module is a simple yet effective tool that gives you fast results for IHC stained digital slides.
The program classifies pixels into positive to weak-positive, moderate-positive and strong-positive groups. The software then calculates the pixel density of each group. Among other measures, this gives you the H-score.
Real-time measurements of the currently visible area appear in an on-screen table as you navigate the slide.
The software is also a useful tool for quick classification of TMA cores.

ImmunoScreener – fast evaluation of immunohistochemistry stained slides
Unbiased and controlled quantification of immunostaining data is essential for marker validation and target therapy. ImmunoScreener provides a convenient interface for highly reliable decisions in stain comparison.
ImmunoScreener lets you evaluate samples through a grid-based segmentation system. This allows you to align your images for comparison.
Multiple users can score the blocks of the grid separately. Their scores can then be summarised to give a final score. This method creates a more standardised, objective scoring system for slides with different staining.

TMA – A powerful tool for high throughput tissue microarray evaluation
The TMA slide scanning software manages and gives access to the full information content of multiple block tissue microarray projects.
Slide navigation, score comparisons and administration become simple tasks. As the TMA software de-arrays the slides, you can work with each core individually.
The software enables you to associate individual TMA cores with your meta-data, for easy administration.
Compare cores manually on screen or use automated image analysis. You can also perform project-based multi-user scoring.
