Fibreoptic optometry is the science of measuring the optical output power (in Watts) of an optical fibre. Laser 2000 provides the full range of UDT sensor heads designed to measure wavelengths from the visible to the infrared (head dependent). As most fibres are fitted with industry standard connectors, we also provide a range of simple connector adaptors that interface with the detector head. As high powers can cause detector saturation, a common cause of inaccurate power measurement, we also provide a wide range of integrating spheres. |
