Standard Bandpass Filters

Semrock manufactures the highest performance and reliability optical filters available for Biotech & Analytical Instrumentation. All Semrock filters are manufactured with the advanced Ion Beam Sputtering (IBS) process - already regarded as the premier optical coating technology, and taken to the next level by Semrock. All Semrock filters are hard coated and deliver high abrasion resistance, and exhibit no burn-out under the intense light sources commonly used in fluorescence applications. Furthermore, they can be cleaned by hand and are impervious to moisture and humidity.

The Semrock range of bandpass filters includes:

BrightLine Filters: The standard in high performance filters. The award-winning and highly acclaimed BrightLine series of optical fluorescence filters has revolutionized fluorescence instruments around the world, from microscopes to micro-arrays, by providing dazzling brightness through highly optimised blocking and transmission performance.

MaxLine Filters: High performance laser-line filters, with high-transmission at the laser wavelength, narrow linewidth & high blocking to extinguish side modes. These filters are highly suited DPSS and Gas lasers and make great exciters for microscopes and other fluorescence instruments using lasers for excitation.

MaxDiode Filters: Again, these are high performance laser clean-up filters, but these are specifically optimized for use with popular semiconductor diode lasers. They provide wider bandwidth than the MaxLine filters, sufficient to cater for the wavelength variation with temperature that many standard laser diodes exhibit.
