The MP-P series is a range of high power benchtop picosecond fibre lasers delivering up to 40W in the infrared.
These lasers deliver pulsed outputs of durations of the order of picoseconds. Average output powers range from 100mW to 40W at a single wavelength in the range: 1030-1080nm; or 1530-1565nm. Pulse energies range from 1-400 microJoules.
The wavelength of these lasers is fixed.
As standard, the pulse duration is of the order of 20-150 picoseconds depending on the wavelength of output. The pulse repetition frequency is fully adjustable between 100kHz to 100MHz.
These lasers are provided in a benchtop format fully compatible with 240VAC single phase mains voltages. The front panel includes laser control lock, emergency shutdown, and laser status indication LEDs. The benchtop also comes complete with a USB computer interface, interlock, external signal outputs and master power switch.
The optical output is polarised and delivered through a singlemode polarisation preserving optical fibre terminated with an FC/APC connector, and located on the front panel of the unit.
A full software suite is provided for laser parameter adjustment and control. The software interface provides features such as output power setting; rep rate; pulse width. This fully featured software interface is easy to use and highly intuitive.
Additional options include: an input for an external trigger signal (code: EIT); and output for an electrical pulse for each optical pulse (code: STO); a configurable delayed electrical output pulse for each optical pulse (DSO); an output power level (OPL).
These lasers are ideally suited to the demands of high power picosecond pulse duration applications such as a wide variety of material ablation tasks in materials processing.
