LBX-L-OE DPSS lasers are low noise, compact OEM CW, air-cooled lasers.
Models in the series are available with outputs at 532nm, 553nm and 561nm. Output powers are wavelength dependent and lie in the 25mW-300mW range.
These DPSS lasers provide excellent beam quality and power stability from a compact and easy to use turnkey system at a mid-range price level.
These laser operate in CW mode as standard, although some limited low frequency modulation can be achieved.
A power supply is provided with the laser. An interlock point is provided on the power supply.
Amplitude stability is dependent on short term noise and longer term drift. All lasers in the LBX-L series deliver long term amplitude stability rated at <2% p-p (over 8 hours). The amplitude noise of these lasers is extremely low, <0.2% rms from 10Hz to 20MHz.
The unique feature of the LBX-L is a proprietary, alignment free monolithic resonator. This creates beams of high spatial quality, single transverse mode TEM00 and M squared of less than 1.2. The beam pointing of these lasers is extremely stable at less than 10 microradians per °C (rms - after warm-up), and the polarisation ratio is linear 100:1.
The LBX-L series laser head is provided with heatsink, controller and interconnection cables. The dimensions are detailed on the specification sheet.
These lasers are for incorporation into such OEM systems where they can be maintained or replaced easily at scheduled and unscheduled service intervals. These lasers are not designed for operation in harsh temperature, humidity, or electrical environments or for exposure to high loading stress, acceleration, shock or vibration. Please note that the failure to provide adequate cooling may result in the premature failure of DPSS lasers.
