Laser 2000 provides a wide range of laser diode control solutions. From the most sensitive and stable of current supplies to the high current demands of the multi-bar stacks, Laser 2000 has laser diode current controllers that provide adjustable highly stable current output, transient suppression and host of protection features.
In addition, Laser 2000 also supplies bipolar effect thermo-electric controllers (TEC) for laser diode temperature control. These devices provide excellent thermal stability and the ability to adjust the laser temperature and thus change the laser output wavelength, laser drive current or modal stability.
Laser diodes are extremely sensitive to: static electricity; current and voltage transients (spikes); and voltage and current noise. To operate the laser diode with its best performance, care needs to be taken in the mounting and connection of the laser diode to the control circuitry. Laser 2000 provides a wide range of mounts designed to accept the numerous industry standard packages and polarities that are available. In addition, Laser 2000 also provides connection cables that shield the laser diode from all but the most extreme electric fields.
Laser 2000 also provides a wide range of different OEM solutions.
