The YL series is a range of laser protection eyewear that permits the maximum protection for the user in styles that are practical with the most light transmission and at wavelengths not covered by the products detailed on the previous pages (click on the "last" button, at the foot of the page, to cycle back through the pages).

Filters
Various types of lenses are available for specific laser types, from uv to far infrared as detailed in reference chart C.

Multiband Filter
The C Laser Diode filter is a specially designed to cover wavelengths from 670nm to 1064nm. Some other filter types also provide protection from multiple wavelengths such as the HeNe filter which also covers gold vapour and Krypton lasers as well as 670nm laser diodes. The protection level varies over the spectrum resulting in differing OD specifications for each laser type.
