Available with UV, visible and IR outputs, gas lasers deliver highly stable output wavelength, power, beam pointing stability, diameter and divergence; at wavelengths that are difficult to generate by other technologies or materials. Reliable and rugged, gas lasers deliver many years of consistently good performance.
Laser 2000 Helium Neon lasers deliver excellent performance in the quality of the laser emission and the laser lifetime. Innovative production techniques have led to superior performance in laser power, stability and wavelength selection. The beam from a HeNe is as close to a perfect Gaussian intensity profile as is practically possible as it is essentially free from the thermal effects, such as astigmatism and wavefront distortions. Typical M2 values are significantly less than 1.05. The average life for Laser 2000 HeNe designs ranges from 15,000 to 50,000 hours of continuous operation.
The Laser 2000 Deep UV laser product family offer 224.3 nm and 248.6 nm for a fraction of the cost of the competition. The deep UV lasers are the size, weight and power consumption of HeNe lasers but with output in the deep UV. With output over 100mW and linewidths less than 3GHz or 0.0005nm, these UV lasers are great sources for a wide range of applications. The input power of the lasers is less than 10W, removing the need for thermal management. The lasers reach full power in less than 20 microseconds, from a cold start in any ambient temperature between -200 and 100°C, without preheating or temperature regulation.
The ATLEX series of short pulse excimer lasers employs state of the art metal-ceramic technology to control the discharge process. The use of a patented ultrafast pre-ionization technique, which is intensified, provides highly efficient laser performance with a pulse duration of just a few nanoseconds and enhanced reliability of all high voltage components.
