Standard Single Stage Isolators

The I-x-2 and I-x-3 models are supplied with a factory optimised wavelength to your specification for maximum isolation. The choice of centre wavelength can be between 390nm and 1100nm, or for HeNe lasers at 632.8nm. Please see the range of dual stage, tuneable and broadband optical isolators for additional wavelengths and/or aperture sizes.

All models are available in low, medium and high power versions for continuous wave and pulsed applications. The high power versions use calcite Glan Taylor polarisers with two AR coated escape ports. Suggested power levels are up to 250MW/cm² pulsed and 250W/cm² CW. For low power applications, a special high performance glass polariser is used. 'Low' power corresponds to a power handling of 1050W/cm² (<700nm) or 50W/cm² (>700nm), 'Medium' 100W/cm² and 'High' 250W/cm².
